12 Months

Alistair...

is such a tease

raises his hands when you say "Soooo big!"

holds up one finger when you ask how old he is

takes a drink and then says "ahhhh"

took his first steps!

11 Months

Alistair...
-has two top teeth
-claps
-says "whoa" and "ticka ticka" all the time
-follows me around the house crying "mamamama" as I hear his hands slap the floor while he crawls
-stands and cruises along furniture
-always tries to sneak into the bathroom
-fake coughs when you prompt him
-gives high fives

10 Months

Alistair has changed the most from month 9 to 10! Lots of new things!

 Alistair
-can get into the sitting position from laying down
-eats LOTS of foods
-waves when someone is coming in the door
-finds DJ or me when you ask "where's dada?" or "where's mama?"
-finds the light when you ask him where it is
-started crawling
-pulls himself up to standing

He went from being completely immobile to going all over the place! He's much happier now that he can choose where he wants to be!

This was a really hard month to capture a picture. He was on the move! Jed was trying to hold him still with not a lot of luck!

9 Months

 Alistair

-is almost crawling
-stopped drooling!
-is almost pulling himself up
-likes kisses and "ugga mugga" (Daniel Tiger style)
-gags on or spits out most foods in his mouth
-weighs 18 lbs
-is 29.72 inches long
-is a tease. When I hold him, he likes to lean and reach for someone else and then once he's in their arms, he immediately reaches and comes back to me and then giggles. He goes back and forth several times! He also likes to lay his head down on me like he's sleeping, and then quickly shoot it back up over and over and giggle about it!

8 Months

Alistair...
-is quick to smile and laugh!
-has two bottom teeth
-got sick for the first time :(
-purposely shakes his rattle toys and blows on his whistle
-plays for such long periods of time on his own!
-started leaning for you when he wants you to hold him

he kept trying to peek around the camera to find me

7 Months

This has been a fun month of new things that make me feel like he's becoming more of a person, rather than a newborn! (Not that newborns aren't people! You know what I mean!) He's responding and reacting so much more and I love it!

Alistair...

-Sits up

-Loves to lay on his back and arch it, then tilt his head way back. He looks like he's going to break his neck!

-Ate sweet potatoes and bananas as his first foods

-Always wants to take a drink of my water

-Splashes like a maniac in the bath

-Kicks his legs and jumps in anticipation of his bath while I fill up his tub

-Almost waves hello

-Has a tooth that's trying to pop through

-Drooooools

-Sleeps on his tummy (wish we would have discovered this weeks ago!)

-Doesn't need to be swaddled anymore to fall/stay asleep

-Hums himself to sleep along with me

6 Months

 Alistair
-Almost sits up on his own
-Has been so much happier and easier
-Giggles when you talk to him
-Likes to play in the bumbo and watch me cook
-Puts both hands on my face and tries to eat my nose or chin
-Grabs and eats his toes
-Sings back to his "Sing-a-ma-jig"

5 Months

Alistair...

falls asleep in the car seat almost every time we drive

rolls over from his back to his tummy

has strong ab muscles

laughs a lot

is growing like a weed in length. (we need new pajamas!)

loves to stand when you hold him

loves to watch Jed be silly

grabs for things

likes the exersaucer

4 Months

 Alistair...
weighs 15 lbs 6 oz
is in the 95% for height. His toes almost bust out of all of his little sleepers.
started being entertained by toys
rolls over from his back to his tummy (and it takes all of his strength)
giggles
still falls asleep to swaddling/bouncing/bathroom vent, but he falls asleep much faster these days
is powerless to my (slash my mom's/grandma's signature) hum "mmm, mmm, mmm, MMM"
loves to stand
prefers to be held all day long
hates the carseat slightly less these days
is growing some fuzzy hair on his head
puts his hands in his mouth when you lay him down (just a like those dolls that close their eyes when you lay them down). Every time! 

3 Months

Alistair...
-has become so much more responsive!
-just noticed that he has feet
-sleeps pretty great at night
-doesn't like when I eat wheat
-is now a HAPPY BABY because I stopped eating wheat!!! (I'll do anything for a happy baby!)
-still loves the ball/bathroom vent/swaddle to fall asleep
-is starting to develop a schedule during the day
-often gets told that he looks long
-likes to listen to me sing "I have hands that can clap, clap, clap" (but we change the words to "feet" and clap his feet and he thinks it hilarious)
-has nightly talks with DJ
-has started sitting in the Bumbo, but gets tired quickly
-likes to suck on his fist
-always looks at you with big eyes!

I am so thankful to have found the issue to his fussiness! Now we can enjoy this baby stage!
