this was unexpectedly good. it's like a potato bar, but with a sweet potato and taco toppings.
Jed gets funnier and funnier every month that passes. I love watching him think as he looks at a book or listens to your question and thinks about his answer. He would eat non-stop if I would let him. He is currently obsessed with bread. "bud!!!!!!" If you try to feed him something that he doesn't like, he will only open his mouth just a little bit. Sometimes it's just enough to get the "good" things off the fork or spoon and leave the gross stuff out. He looks at books more often than he plays with toys. Until DJ comes home...then he runs wild and plays with blocks. Isn't that funny how different a child is with a mom and a dad? He has just started throwing little tantrums. Oh boy. But it's not often, and they don't last long...thank goodness. He has switched over to size 4 diapers. I don't even know how we squeezed him into 3's the past few weeks. I tried to put one on when we ran out the other day, and I might as well have been using a newborn diaper. Hmmm...and I wondered why he was leaking through his diapers. Rookie. He can name all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents if he sees them or a picture of them. He loves little songs or poems that come with actions. His favorite ones are Twinkle Twinkle, Five Little Monkeys, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Five Little Pumpkins.

At the end of the song you can hear my phone ring (DJ's ringtone) and he pauses to listen. He knows that it means that dada's coming home soon!
