Exactly the way it is

I haven't blogged my phone pictures in awhile. Since September 17th, actually. So here they are. As I was looking through all of these pictures, they just depict our daily life so well and I don't want to forget it. Pajamas, cousins, naps, Chick-Fil-A, grandpas & grandmas, the park. So very typical.

Play date with Nash and Baby Liv

Just documenting how long it was

"Mom, you look like Elsa."  Thanks for making my week, buddy! ;)

Chick-Fil-A on a Friday night. Every Friday. We rarely miss. And we've totally arrived, our oldest boys are sitting at their own table and hardly need supervision

No-cheese nacho cheese dip for all the dairy free folks around

My MOPS "table" this year!

"Mom, can you watch me?" Every day, like 80 times a day.

Free coffee week

We implemented something new since naps are no longer a thing around here, unless they happen on accident

We're famous!

"Hey! It's Santa!"

Lots of Lego time around here too

Dunkin' Donuts again

Family movie night

Jed was so excited to set up DJ's "Football Party" for his birthday. He got it in his mind that that's what DJ wanted, and so we picked up a few supplies at the Dollar store. He was so proud of himself and so excited for DJ to wake up to see this and the streamers and balloons.

My mom got to come to one of my MOPS meetings, and then we went out for lunch!

Friday night. Check.

Henley's catching up quickly

Chocolate "ice cream" made of whipped frozen bananas, cocoa powder, and peanut butter.

We got some Disney VHS tapes a few weeks ago and had movie night every few days. He made it about 20 minutes into Aladdin. He's been singing Lion King songs like a pro for the last several days. You'd think he grew up in the 90's.

We went to the YMCA to run off some energy

Post-Quiet Time

I had a Women's Night of Worship at church, and I came home to find these guys like this.

Stuffed Acorn squash

33, 3, 3 months

Quinoa, Sweet potato, Black Bean bowl with cilantro lime dressing

Ahh! I did it!

Waffle Bar night at Bible Study

Auntie Jen took Jed out to dinner and to do some Halloween shopping while I hosted Bible Study. He was worn out when he came home. He fell asleep on the bathroom floor (with his new sword purchase in his hands).

4 Months

 Alistair...
weighs 15 lbs 6 oz
is in the 95% for height. His toes almost bust out of all of his little sleepers.
started being entertained by toys
rolls over from his back to his tummy (and it takes all of his strength)
giggles
still falls asleep to swaddling/bouncing/bathroom vent, but he falls asleep much faster these days
is powerless to my (slash my mom's/grandma's signature) hum "mmm, mmm, mmm, MMM"
loves to stand
prefers to be held all day long
hates the carseat slightly less these days
is growing some fuzzy hair on his head
puts his hands in his mouth when you lay him down (just a like those dolls that close their eyes when you lay them down). Every time!

3 Months

Alistair...
-has become so much more responsive!
-just noticed that he has feet
-sleeps pretty great at night
-doesn't like when I eat wheat
-is now a HAPPY BABY because I stopped eating wheat!!! (I'll do anything for a happy baby!)
-still loves the ball/bathroom vent/swaddle to fall asleep
-is starting to develop a schedule during the day
-often gets told that he looks long
-likes to listen to me sing "I have hands that can clap, clap, clap" (but we change the words to "feet" and clap his feet and he thinks it hilarious)
-has nightly talks with DJ
-has started sitting in the Bumbo, but gets tired quickly
-likes to suck on his fist
-always looks at you with big eyes!

I am so thankful to have found the issue to his fussiness! Now we can enjoy this baby stage!
