sweet & tangy chicken


i found a really good recipe here the other day!  the best part was that it is only 4 ingredients and i could make it the night before so that I didn't have to do anything but put it in the oven when i got home from school.  i didn't know what to expect, but it almost tasted like sweet and sour chicken. so i think i'll make it with some rice next time!


sweet & tangy chicken
1 pkg dry french onion soup mix
1 (8oz) bottle of catalina dressing (it called for Russian dressing, but i couldn't find that)
1 cup of apricot preserves
chicken breasts (i used 5, but there was definitely enough sauce for more)


mix first 3 ingredients, then pour over chicken in a pan.  bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees, basting 3-4 times while baking.

still celebrating



We had some extra chocolate from the chocolate fountain that my mom brought during Christmas, so on Tuesday I tried to prolong Christmas vacation. Well...I'M still on vacation, but DJ had to go back to work that day.  We still have a LOT more chocolate. We might be finding reasons to celebrate for quite awhile!
