i dug through my craft tub and found a few acrylic paints. they were scattered throughout the tub. i had no idea i had this many!

one day jed and i were sitting on the front porch watching cars drive by, when suddenly a crazy lady rammed into two mailboxes on our street...then drove off! (and left her license plate laying there! ha!)  the cops came. neighbors gathered. it was a regular block party.

he does have 5 toes. but the biggest one is in his mouth.

i needed an apron while i was cooking, but when i put it over my head it covered up the baby.  so he wore it.

long day at MOPS, out to lunch with dad, then to the doctor. he crashed on the floor. and yes, my entire glass of water spilled over there by my diaper bag.

on monday it was cold and rainy. kerri came over to hang out and delivered coffee. it was amazing!

going for a walk like the big kids. (normally he rides in his carseat)

he must have liked it

5 months

From month 4 to month 5 i saw the most change in Jedidiah. I almost blogged at 4 1/2 months because he was changing so quickly! Now that we are almost to 5 1/2 months, it's unbelievable how different he is!

Jedidiah...

weighs 17lbs 10oz

loves the sound of his voice

"sings" when you pat your hand on his mouth

sleeps through the night

started to attempt sitting (and now he sits on his own!)

rolls over both ways

grabs for things

puts things in his mouth

tries to eat what we're eating

loves playing in his exersaucer

knows when i leave the room

stops crying with someone else if he sees me

likes to sit on the front porch and watch cars drive by

spent his first day away from me (I subbed, while he stayed with anna and bentley)

laughs when we laugh

loves examining painted fingernails

tries to do sit-ups

likes being thrown into pillows by dj

doesn't liked to be rocked as much any more. he now lays on his tummy on the floor or his crib and sucks his thumb while i sing to him...and he's out.

he loves to stick out his tongue!

i left him alone for a few minutes playing with his toys. he started out on the blanket. when i came in the living room, i was SHOCKED to see him so close to me! and somehow he brought that blue elephant with him.
