happy 2nd birthday, bentley!

yesterday, bentley turned two! he had an elmo themed party. the decorations were so cute! 

bentley knows how to take pictures with jedi...lay down next to him. i have a feeling that we are going to have a lot of these pictures when we look through them in 20 years.  which makes me wonder...how will we be looking through them in 20 years? not by pulling polaroids out of a old box in the back of the closet like we do now.  and probably not on facebook because i'm assuming that something way way better will come along by then. better than facebook? how could it be? ok. back to the birthday party...

dig out the orange peanut M&M's and eat the other ones

 assemble all together (using the ends of marshmallows for the eyes), and you have Elmo!

i took one last picture at school after i packed up my classroom.

i took this for my dad. did we have an evinrude motor on our boat? i just remember hearing gary say it all the time. 

 feeling pregnant again. i always wonder how he fit inside of me. well...like this!

geared up for our looong road trip to kansas for harvest. the vacuum cleaner is running behind him. i did not want to risk him waking up before we started the drive.

halfway there! we stopped at sonic to eat. it was SOOO windy.

 we probably walked a mile in the shed this night. as everyone else was buying toys in the auction we walked circles in the shed over and over and over.

 moby wrap + exercise ball + vacuum = sleeping baby!  works every time.

 it looks like i'm going to drop him. don't worry guys...i got it. 

 very blurry...but so cute. i was imagining him being able to walk around at 2 ft. 1 in. tall.  ha!!
