he is repeating everything! i don't know if this makes any sense, but i feel like he and i have become "friends" this month. it's probably just because he's developing a personality and independence, and learning how to play and joke around. our relationship has changed from me holding him and feeding him to us playing and laughing. he got his first haircut (from dj). he loves the pool. he's obsessed with elmo (melmo) and mickey!!! how does that happen? he reaches for the xbox to turn it on (when he knows he shouldn't) and looks at me before he does it. and so it begins! he yells "wah waaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" at the tops of his lungs until you give him water. he's so funny.
dare i say it again?...this is my favorite month so far.
Wonder how different he will look at 15 mo. 15-18 mo is really fun. Continue to enjoy every day. They grow up so quickly, and seems you hardly remember.
ReplyDeleteglad you didn't give up! i was trying to describe to caroline the good tingly feeling we get inside when our kids do things like drink smoothies/have a clean diaper right before a nap because i was having it today while bentley was running wild at adventureland. i loved how he was using so much good energy on fun things!
