Wow...we're starting back in September with these phone pics!
| just hanging out in my driveway on a recliner. |
| can you see jed? he's carrying a poster that's almost bigger than him. we can't even be sure if he's wearing clothes or not. |
| 'weepin' |
| Our church celebrated the end of a 3-year campaign to "Double Your Impact" to help our church, our city, and people around the world. We ALL gathered in the atrium to end the service. |
| Jed fell asleep at Jordan & Vivian's new studio |
| Me: "Wanna take a bath?" Jed runs to the bathtub in his pj's. |
| Organizing all of my holiday tubs |
| helping out in the wood shop |
| comfy nap time spot |
| I put a backpack on Jed's Christmas list because, although this purple girly Dora one is cool, he'd like one to wear around in public. |
| i usually hate the onset of fall, but I did appreciate this view. |
| At the MOPS Ladies' Night Out |
| Got the mixer and backpack. Ready to go! |
| We always have the coolest tree on the block. It turns colors before any of our neighbors' trees do. |
| playing with Grandma's "bag of tricks" that Grandpa brought when he came to Omaha for the day. |
| family lunch with Grandpa |
| Grandpa was making silly faces and Jed was cracking up! |
| BEFORE PIC! (don't mind the baby handprints on the mirror) I had these wide-leg gray dress pants that I literally haven't worn since before I was pregnant, and didn't really want to wear them ever again. But a friend of mine posted on Facebook that she changed her pants to skinny pants really easily! So, with the help of Kerri on my first pair, I transformed my pants! |
| Kerri (and baby) helping iron and pin |
| So I had a few mishaps while sewing. But I pulled it together eventually! |
| TA DA!!! |
| BEFORE and AFTER |
| Thanks for the window clings, grandma! |
| He wanted to nap with his hat on |
| TA DA!! Stupid dress pants transformation #2!! Now I have black skinnies and I'm in love. |
| On Monday it flurried a little. Shawn texted me to say that I could sing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" on the first snow. And Kerri said that I could get coffee. So I used my free Scooters drink card and indulged, and watched Ellen while I drank it and Jed napped on the couch. It was awesome. And it made me want Christmas to be here! |
| I texted this to Ryan to remind him that he used to ALWAYS wear his socks like this. Gross. Haha. |
| Hmm...who's kid is this? Playing with the talking Simpsons car. |
| Our fiasco from Wednesday. I was in the kitchen cleaning and heard Jed crying. He got his head stuck in the railings. After several unsuccessful attempts to get him out, I took a picture of him. Ha. Don't worry. I called DJ first, and then I put on a movie for the trapped young one. And then I took a picture. |
| Then I started noticing his eyes getting heavy. |
| AND HE FELL ASLEEP! |
| Then DJ came home and saved the day without having to cut the railings. Whew! We're getting to be old pros at this kid-gets-their-head-stuck-in-the-railings thing. |
