Staycation

I am so so thankful for all the memories from this past week. We decided to do a staycation as DJ was in between projects at work. We spent the whole week together doing fun “vacation-y” things and also having some relaxed home hangouts. It was the best and I don’t want DJ to go back to work! We started out Monday by going to the zoo and then stayed in a hotel downtown that had a little waterpark in it. Jed loved it! We ordered in pizza, which was the best pizza I’ve ever had! (Maybe because I’ve been deprived for over a year!) Then we went to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday and explored everything! It was all so fun!

We made it to the hotel!

The waterpark at the hotel was awesome. The red twirly slide went outside! The best part was that the water was warm!

I love this picture because I envision Jed leaving the hotel with his Starbucks coffee in hand, ready to catch a flight.
The next day we hit up the pool at the hotel again, then went to Voodoo Taco at NEX

Jed's cracking up in the background

VALA'S PUMPKIN PATCH

Jed would have probably been happy spending the entire day in the corn pit

Obstacle Course

Alistair threw a fit in the middle of the walkway and we never did figure out why, but it was funny.

Waiting for the Dragon Feeding show

The boys took the train ride by themselves. I asked Jed who took this photo and he said, "The passenger? No....the caboose?" Me: "The conductor?"  Jed: "Yeah, the conductor."

2015--2016

We finished the night with dinner at Red Robin

The next day at home, Jed helped assemble DJ's birthday gift

We spend SO many hours in the garage and the driveway. Alistair explores and gets into things while Jed rides his balance bike.

Bible Study Fun Night

On Friday morning, we had a MOPS play date at Zorinski Park

We got invited to the Hope Center Gala
