It's Potty Time & Friday Phone Dump

I only titled this post with that phrase because it's the only song running through my head at all times. "Listen to your body when it's time to go potty....it's potty time!"  So Bentley let us borrow his potty chair, we started watching youtube Elmo potty training videos and Jed developed a strong interest in both things. So I decided to start potty training.  It's been a week filled with some really awesome days and some days where I almost lost my mind cleaning up accident after accident in our barricaded kitchen. We'll get there.  So here are a few pictures of the past week. (I'll remove the bare buns pictures before Jed gets into Junior High).

Just calling someone on the thermometer

Aunt Priscilla came to Omaha to celebrate Christmas with her nieces and nephews (and great-nephews).

Bentley's ear muffs

And onto the Friday Phone Dump

Hmmm...Where's Jed?

Awwww....my first "like" from my favorite person

Baby Everett came over to play

MOPS table play date.  Chasing bubbles.

He loves his shadow

And apparently he loves America too

Can you tell this was #embracethecamera week for me??

Ok, you're sort of getting the idea of the potty chair. Except the diaper part.

still working on it

Unloading the dishwasher.  He didn't do too bad.  I just wish his arms could reach a little higher so he could actually put stuff away!

Some old roommates!

I just finished this book, in a 24 hour period, written by a guy who lost his little sister in a car accident and then a few years later, his other sister, Amber Wilkins, got in a terrible car accident that left her with a brain injury.  I would definitely recommend it, but be warned that you WILL cry...more than one time.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

  1. I've looked at the pics several times. Not sure about the comfort of laying on the cold hard floor with no underwear?? ha. I just LOVE those little work shoes- even cuter with no pants. Water or pop with the popcorn?? Hmmm. Grandma's heart hurts. And the good wkend we had when we came for Shawn's tournament. Loved that 11Worth Cafe.
